How To: Enable a Connect IoT Integration User#

Before Connect IoT can authenticate as an MES user, that user must have the Integration User flag enabled. Without it, the Automation Manager cannot establish a session with MES. Follow the steps below to enable the flag on the target user account.

  1. Select Administration in the left menu.

  2. Select the Security icon.

  3. Select Users to open the account management page.

  4. In the account list, select the account to enable as an integration user. This example uses Administrator.

  5. On the account details page, select Edit to open the wizard.

  6. Enable the Integration User option.

  7. Select Save to apply the change and close the wizard.
