Material Genealogy#

Description#

This report provides information about Material's Genealogy.

Warning

Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) does not yet support ODS, so this report will not work properly if you are using EDP. For more information, see EDP Tutorial ⧉.

Assumptions#

None

Filters#

Date Start - Filters the operation start time
Date End - Filters the operation end time
Material - the Material name
Facility - Multi value filter on facilities
Step - Multi value filter on Steps (restricted by the Facility filter)
Mode - Ascendant or Descendant (i.e. show "parent materials" or "child materials" for the input material)
Depth - Recursion degree, it defaults to 1 which corresponds to the immediate ascendants or descendants

Fields#

Level - first level is one
Datetime - date and time of the operation
Operation - the name of the operation (split, merge, assemble, ...)
Parent - parent material
Child - child material
Facility - facility where the operation took place
Step - the name of the step where the operation took place
Product - the name of the Product
BOM - optional, the name of the BOM (hidden when no BOM exists in the results)
Parent Quantities - the primary and secondary quantities and corresponding units for the parent material
Child Quantities - the primary and secondary quantities and corresponding units for the child material
Information Name - the Information Value provided by the user
