Resource History (New Design)#
Overview#
The Resource History (New Design) report is an enhanced version of the Resource History, based on data stored in the Operational Data Store (ODS). The report details everything that happened in a Resource during the selected period, organized by each state the Resource went through. It supports troubleshooting, audits, and the analysis of Resource usage.
Warning
Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) does not yet support ODS, so this report will not work properly if you are using EDP. For more information, see EDP Tutorial ⧉.
It can be accessed through the Resource History folder from the Business Intelligence tab.
Filters and Report Options#
The following filters are available:
- Resource
- Enterprise
- Site
- Facility
- Area
- Begin Date
- End Date
You can further refine the report by selecting one or more of the following sections to include:
- Services
- Data Collections
- Material Tracking / Recipes
- Durables
- Maintenance Management
Info
Each option enables or disables the execution of a specific section of the report. Enabling only the information you need reduces the overall execution time.
Report Sections#
Firstly, the report header shows the Resource the report pertains to.
After, a ribbon displays the filters and options selected when generating the report.
The report is organized by Resource state, from the most recent to the oldest. Each state has a distinct section, with a header that includes the state name and the period in which the Resource was in that state. For each state, you are provided with:
- Transition - the state transition that occurred, for example
Standby -> Productive. - System State
- Comment
- Time at State
- User that performed the transition.

Below each state, the report includes the sections selected, detailing what happened in the Resource while it was in that state.
Material Tracking#
This section displays all the Materials that were dispatched and tracked in to the Resource.
For each Material, the report groups the operations by the Service in which they were performed, for example Complex Dispatch And Track In Materials, and includes:
- User that performed the service with date and time
- Comment
For each operation, you are provided with:
- Operation - for example, Dispatch, TrackIn, or AssociateRecipe.
- Product
- Step
- Required Service
- Primary Quantity
- Secondary Quantity
- Sub-Material Count
- Recipe
- BOM
If the Recipes option is selected and a Recipe was associated with the Material, the report also displays:
- Recipe Instance
- Recipe
- Parameter
- Value

Data Collection#
This section displays all the Data Collection instances collected for the Resource.
For each Data Collection instance, you are provided with:
- Instance
- Data Collection
- Type - for example, Immediate or LongRunning.
- Completed On
- Limit Set
Data Source: [[dataplatform-dataset-resourcehistorydatacollectioninstances]]
Below that, the collected values are grouped by parameter group and sample. For each Parameter, the report lists:
- Reading
- Value
- Instrument

Services#
This section displays all the Services executed on the Resource, for example Complex Log Resource Event or Begin Maintenance Activity Orders.
For each Service, you are provided with:
- User that executed the service with date and time
- Comment
- Operation - list of operations performed by the service.
- Date

Durables#
This section displays all the Durables attached to or detached from the Resource.
For each operation, for example Attach Durables, you are provided with:
- User that performed the operation with date and time
- Durables Count
- Resource
- Durable
- Position

Maintenance Management#
This section displays all the Maintenance Activity Orders (MAOs) of the Resource. Each MAO is identified by its number and type, for example 3 / Time Based or 5 / Adhoc.
For each operation performed on the MAO, for example BeginMAO, CompleteMAO, or AcceptMAO, you are provided with:
- Operation
- Operator
- Operation Date
- Begin Date
- End Date
- Effective End Date
- Scheduled Date
- Execution State
- Expected Duration
- Comment
Data Source: [[dataplatform-dataset-resourcehistorymao]] and [[dataplatform-dataset-resourcehistorymaonoparts]]
Checklist#
If the MAO has a Checklist, the report displays the following details for each Checklist instance:
- Instance
- Checklist
- MAO
- System / Universal State
- Date Started
- Date Ended
For each item of the Checklist instance, there is a different section with the task and its state (example: Item1 (Completed) Manual Task), detailing:
- User
- Date of Completion
- Signatures
- Parameter
- Type
- Value
Data Source: [[dataplatform-dataset-resourcehistorychecklistdetails]] and [[dataplatform-dataset-resourcehistorychecklistitem]]
Parts and Other Operations#
If the MAO has Parts, the report displays the following details:
- Part Name
- Plan Quantity
- Actual Quantity
The Other Operations section lists the remaining operations performed on the MAO, for example Associate Maintenance Plan or Accept MAO, with the execution state, the user, and the date and time of each. For each operation, you are provided with:
- Begin Date
- End Date
- Effective End Date
- Scheduled Date
- Expected Duration
- Comment
