General Scope#

Overview#

The context in which a UI Page can be used is determined by the Scope. The General scope makes a UI Page available without associating it with a specific entity type, menu entry, or workspace.

This scope is typically used for pages that are:

  • Cross-functional;
  • Informational or monitoring-oriented;
  • Accessed via links or external navigation paths.

The General scope does not support pinning UI Pages to Quick Access.

Note

A UI Page is only visible and usable if it is Effective. To make the UI Page (including any Quick Access entry) available, the associated Change Set must be approved and the Universal State must be Effective.
