Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Area.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Area exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Area wizard can be called from the Area page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The Name of the Area cannot be altered.

Step 2: Additional Information#

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard. Depending on the Area Type selected when creating the object, the properties shown in the image below may change. For more information, see Create Area.
