Service.Edit

Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Service.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Service exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Service wizard can be called from the Service page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The Name of the Service cannot be altered. Additionally, the Processing Type cannot be changed if there are any Resources that provide the current Service.

Step 2: Manage Service Resources#

Add or remove Resource(s) that are currently providing the Service.
