Contextual Help#

Overview#

Contextual Help provides information related to the area you are currently using. It provides quick access to relevant Critical Manufacturing MES information in the online Critical Manufacturing Documentation Portal ↗.

Access#

You can access the Contextual Help by selecting the Help icon available on the top right corner of every wizard.

When you select Help, the Documentation Portal opens the relevant User Guide page in a separate window. The page may also contain links to related information. The client device must have network access to the Documentation Portal.

Configuration#

The Contextual Help is available in the system by default, but you can choose to disable it by using the following configuration: /Cmf/Guis/Configuration/Common/UseContextualHelp/.

Configuration access is available via the Administration menu, Configuration entity.

If you select Edit in the Configuration page, you will access the Edit Configuration Entry wizard where you can make the necessary changes to the Value (default set to True) and Save them at the end.
