IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 Extension#

In order to use Critical Manufacturing - UXFab, IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 Extension must be installed in each application server.

IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 enables Web administrators to create powerful rules to implement URLs that are easier for users to remember and easier for search engines to find.

The setup of IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 Extension can be found in the directory Software\Requirements\IISReWrite of the installation disk. In that directory, there are two setup files - one for 32 bits and another for 64 bits platforms:

  • x32\rewrite_x86.msi - for 32 bits systems.
  • x64\rewrite_amd64.msi - for 64 bits systems.

In order to install IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 Extension, run the setup for the appropriate operating system platform (32 or 34 bits) and follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard.
