Master Data Loader Introduction#

Overview#

The goal of this document is to guide the Critical Manufacturing MES users to use the Master Data Loader tool, providing an efficient way to prepare and format the data to be loaded into the MasterData file and subsequently to the system.

Master Data Management#

Master Data Management is a module used to define and manage the critical data of an organization to provide a single point of reference.

Sequence Of Steps#

The necessary steps to correctly load a Master Data file are the following:

  1. Populate the Master Data File.
  2. Create a Master Data Package through the Master Data Packages section of the Administration menu.
  3. Load the Master Data file created in the first step.
  4. Run the import procedure by pressing the Load button and checking for any potential errors in the Execution view.
  5. Verify data in entities in the actual MES installation.
