Client Devices#

The Critical Manufacturing MES UI is an HTML5 Single Page Application, which is accessible with a compatible web browser and does not require any installation on client devices.

This section outlines the supported browsers and specific requirements for client devices.

Supported Chrome Drivers#

To ensure browser compatibility and UI stability, each MES version undergoes automated testing using a specific Web Driver (ChromeDriver).

Full GUI Functionality Configuration#

In order to enable all the functionalities of the GUI, it is necessary to configure the browser used to access the HTML GUI site as described in the table below:

Setting Description
Allow Pop-ups The option Always allow pop-ups must be enabled for the GUI site
Whitelist ad-blockers The GUI site must be whitelisted in any ad-blocker software

Warning

Note that this is the minimum recommended configuration for the UI to be executed. Depending on your specific requirements or workload, more powerful devices may be required (for example, if FabLive 3D is used with complex scenes).

Mobile devices#

Since Critical Manufacturing MES is a web application, there are no defined mobile hardware requirements for the use of its standard functionalities. Any mobile device able to run the supported version of Chrome, combined with one of our recommended resolutions for optimal viewing, should be appropriate. We recommend the following resolution formats for optimal viewing and operation of the Critical Manufacturing MES on mobile devices:
