Create Automation Manager#

AutomationManager.Create

Overview#

This operation is used to create a new Automation Manager.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Automation Manager does not currently exist in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: General Data#

1. Provide a name for the Automation Manager.
2. Optionally, provide a description of the Automation Manager.
3. Select the Automation Manager type. The list of possible values is taken from the lookup table AutomationManagerType.
4. Optionally select a Data Group for the Automation Manager.
5. Select the Monitor Version to be used by the Automation Manager. A list of available monitor versions will be displayed for selection.
6. Select the Manager Version to be used by the Automation Manager. A list of available manager versions will be displayed for selection.
7. Define the Automation Manager ID that will be used.
8. Define the Deployment Mode that will be used. A list of available deployment modes will be displayed for selection (Manual and AutomaticDeploy).
