IoT Event Definition Page#

🔒 IoTEventDefinition.Show

The IoT Event Definition page displays the information on the specific IoT Event Definition. In addition it enables the user to perform all the allowed operations on a specific IoT Event Definition. On top right it is possible to switch between 3 main views: Details, References and History views. By default the page opens in the details view.

Details View#

Depending on the optional modules that are licensed in the system, the Details view will display some or all of the following page sections:

Details#

It displays general information on the IoT Event Definition. Such information include:

  • IoT Event Definition Name
  • Description
  • Type
  • Universal State
  • IoT Schema

Details section

Properties#

This section lists all the properties this IoT Event Definition includes. A paginated table can be viewed below presenting information regarding for instance Data Type, Is Mandatory, Is Array, or Is Indexed properties. If it is an Iot Schema tha user can further drill down on the structure of the selected property.

IoT Workflows#

It enables the visualization of existing assigned IoT Workflows and the possibility to create new ones.

Attachments#

It shows the documents that are attached to the IoT Event Definition and enables the user to attach additional documentation to the IoT Event Definition.

References View#

This view combines information concerning other objects that have references to the current object:

  • Relations - displays the existing Relations between the IoT Event Definition and other entities and enables the user to edit them. For more information on Relations, visit the section Relations.
  • Where Used - displays the set of relationships between the IoT Event Definition and the other objects used throughout the system.

History View#

This view combines information concerning other objects that have references to the current IoT Event Definition object:

  • History - displays the history of the operations, associated information, user(s) performing the changes and date and time of the changes.
