Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Checklist.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Checklist must exist in the system and be in either a Created or Active state.
  • When updating the Execution Mode from Long Running to Immediate, there cannot exist any version of the Checklist with the Track Execution Time property set to true.
  • When updating the Scope or Execution Mode:
    • No version of the Checklist may reference a BOM.
    • No version of the Checklist may have a Material Deviation Protocol defined.
    • No version of the Checklist may reference a Data Collection, unless the Checklist scope is Material Tracking and remains unchanged.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Checklist wizard can be called from the Checklist page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The Name of the Checklist cannot be altered.
