Manage Binning Tree#

Overview#

This operation is used to manage the Product's Binning Tree.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• Product exists in the system and it is Active.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Manage Binning Tree#

1. Specify as many binning information records as necessary, providing for each one:

   • The target Product.
   • The Step where the binning takes place.
   • The Bin number.
   • The Bin type:
     • MainProduct - the bin is considered to be of the same product.
     • SubProduct - the bin is considered to be of a different product.
     • Loss - the bin is considered to be a loss, in this case a Loss Reason needs to be provided.
   • Optionally, a Bin Group (used to logically group the bins).
   • Optionally, a Loss Reason (mandatory for bins of type Loss).

2. Select Update to complete the transaction.
