Manage Sub-Products#

Overview#

This operation is used to define the possible Product changes, including automatic Product changes.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Product exists and is Active.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Manage Sub-Products#

  1. Specify as many allowed Product sub-products as necessary (using the and buttons on the grid to add and remove rows), providing for each one:

    • The target Product.
    • Optionally, the Product change description.
    • The Facility (used to restrict the changes to that Facility).
    • The Step (used to restrict the changes to that Step).
    • The Type of Product change (values are taken from the Lookup table SubProductType).
    • Whether the change is automatic (when the Material arrives to that Step or Facility) or not.

  2. Select Update to complete the operation.
