Contextual Help#

Overview#

Contextual Help provides you with extra information that relates to the area you are currently interacting with. It is an easy and quick way to access helpful Critical Manufacturing MES information that is available in the Documentation Portal.

Access#

You can access the Contextual Help by selecting the Help icon available on the top right corner of every wizard.

When the Help is selected, a Documentation Portal window opens, and the respective User Guide information page is made available for you. Additionally, this page may contain links to other relevant information elsewhere.

Configuration#

The Contextual Help is available in the system by default, but you can choose to disable it by using the following configuration: /Cmf/Guis/Configuration/Common/UseContextualHelp/.

Configuration access is available via the Administration menu, Configuration entity.

If you select Edit in the Configuration page, you will access the Edit Configuration Entry wizard where you can make the necessary changes to the Value (default set to True) and Save them at the end.
