Release Batch#

Batch.Release

Overview#

This operation is used to Release a given Batch. After a Batch is released, the composition of the batch (Materials and Containers) as well as most of the Batch information cannot be modified.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Batch exists in the system and is Active.
• The Batch system state is Created.
• The number of Batch Materials must be greater than 0.
• If the Minimum Batch Size is set, the Batch Size must be greater than the Minimum Batch Size.
• If the Batch Load Start Mode is After Release, the Load State must be Not Loaded.

Sequence of Steps#

1. Choose a Created Batch, then select the Release button on the top ribbon.
2. Optionally, enter a comment for the operation.
3. Select Release Batch.
