在凯睿德制造软件主机模型中，步骤和上下文中的物料需要服务。上下文可以由可选的物料、流程和产品组合组成。

服务，一方面是物料需要的，另一方面是资源提供的。一旦物料和资源都可派工，并且所需服务与提供的服务匹配，就可以将物料分派给资源。

资源和步骤通过服务松散地结合在一起。

服务可以全局启用或禁用，也可以在特定资源上启用或禁用。禁用服务后，该服务不能用于派工目的。
