Overview#

A UI Page is a configurable entity that presents a GUI page that can be used to display information and interact with the system using different page elements (such as widgets, properties, data sources) and visualization modes.

Browsing UI Pages#

Select the UI Pages page to see the UI Pages folder structure. To see the content of each folder, select the intended folder and its content will be displayed in tile format in the pane on the right.

The UI Page can be configured to share information among the different elements based on user inputs and system triggers that enables a user-friendly interaction with the system.

Filters#

You can filter UI Pages by:

  • Scope
  • Section
  • Entity Type

UI Page Types#

There are four different types of UI Pages:

  • Cluster - a special type of page that organizes a navigation menu on the left and an information panel on the right, useful for elements with multiple layers of information.
  • Page - an organized set of elements that allow you to interact with the system.
  • Step - a specific step to be used in UI Pages of type Wizard.
  • Wizard - a set of steps that prepares data to call a system action.

Developer Mode#

🔒 UIPage.DeveloperMode

This security feature will allow the UI Page to be seen in designer mode, showing information immediately below the top ribbon that is pertinent to the designer of the UI Page and may be considered as clutter by an end user. If the user does not have that security feature assigned, the UI Page will withhold this information (Name, Revision, Version and Title) and collapse the toolbar, displaying only the title.
