Edit Batch#

Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Batch.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Batch exists in the system and is Active.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Batch wizard can be called from the Batch page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

In this wizard, you can only edit the description and the priority of the Batch.

Step 2: Materials#

In this wizard, you can add or remove Batch Materials by selecting the or icons, respectively. While you cannot remove a Batch Material that has been set as Main Material, you can define another Material as the Main Material.

Additionally, if the Batch is not in Created state, you will not be able to modify the list of Materials, including Main Material,

Step 3: Containers#

In this wizard, you can add or remove Batch Containers by selecting the or icons, respectively. If the Batch is not in Created state, you will not be able to modify the list of Containers,
