Annotate Logical Chart#

Overview#

This operation is used to Annotate a data point.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  1. The Chart exists in the system and it is Active.
  2. The Chart Data Point exists in the system and it is Active (Universal State).

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1#

  1. In the Logical Chart, select the Chart Data Point you want to annotate.
  2. Select Annotate to open the Annotate Chart Data Point wizard.
  3. Verify the Chart Data Point information.
  4. Depending on the value of the Data Point, you can enter a code for the annotation. This will depend on whether the Data Point value is between the set limits for the chart or if there is a violation of those limits, as well as a specific configuration of the parent Chart entity:
  5. For non-violations, if the General Annotation Code Source property of the Chart is set to a specific Lookup Table, you can select a value from that Lookup Table.
  6. For violations, if the Violation Annotation Code Source property of the Chart is set to a specific Lookup Table, you can select a value from that Lookup Table.

  7. Enter or edit the annotation in the textbox.

  8. Optionally, enter a comment.
  9. Select Annotate to complete the operation..
