Open Checklist Instance#

Overview#

This operation is used to create and open a Checklist Instance.

Info

Usually a Checklist is not opened directly by the end user, but rather by the system itself in the context of other modules, such as Exception Management and Maintenance Management.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Checklist is Active or Checklist Version is Effective.
  • The Checklist is of scope General.
  • The Checklist Execution mode is Long Running.

Sequence of Steps#

The Open Checklist Instance wizard can be called from the Checklist page within the Business Data Group.

  1. Press Open to perform the operation.

Note

For Checklist items containing specific conditions, you must define the suitable context. For more information, see Checklist With Conditions.
