Reset Data Collection Instance#

🔒 DataCollectionInstance.Reset

Overview#

This operation deletes all the values of an existing long-running Data Collection Instance.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Data Collection Instance is Open.

Sequence of Steps#

From the Material where the Data Collection Instance is open, select the Reset Data button.

  1. Select the Reset button to complete the operation.

Warning

Once a Data Collection Instance is reset all the existing values are removed and cannot be recovered.
