Manage Shipping Facilities#

Overview#

This operation is used to manage the Facilities that are available to be shipped to from a Facility.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The local Facility exists in the system.
  • The remote Facilities exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

To manage the Facilities that can be shipped to from the current Facility, there is a button labeled Manage in the Shipping tab of the current Facility. Pressing the button opens a wizard where the data can be configured:

  1. Add as many Facilities as desired in the left side panel.
  2. Each added Facility should be configured on the right side panel by selecting the desired Facility. Read-only information will be displayed on the selected Facility:

    • Description - selected Facility description
    • Type - selected Facility Type
    • Is Remote - information on whether the Facility is located locally or if it is remote. A remote Facility represents another Critical Manufacturing instance.
  3. Pressing Update will update the list of Facilities and return to the main screen.
