Join Maintenance Activity Orders#

Overview#

This operations is used to join one or more Maintenance Activity Orders (MAOs) with a Parent MAO. When a MAO is joined with a Parent, only the Parent needs to be performed. After the Parent is completed, both the Parent and the included MAO are scheduled by the system.

Preconditions#

  • All MAOs to be joined (both Parent and Child):
    • Are Active and in one of these execution states: Requested, Approved or Released.
    • Belong to the same Maintenance Plan Instance.
    • Have the same schedule type, which must be one of the following: Usage Based, Time Based or Time And Usage Based.
    • The relationship from Parent MAO and Children MAO exists in the effective Maintenance Plan.
  • The Parent MAO must not be already included in another MAO.
  • The user must belong to the Maintenance Plan Instance Owner Role.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1#

  1. Select all the MAOs to be joined with the Parent MAO.
  2. Optionally, enter a Comment.
  3. Select Join to complete the operation.
