Terminate Maintenance Plan Instance#

MaintenancePlanInstance.Terminate

Overview#

This operation is used to Terminate a Maintenance Plan Instance object. While this is an operation to terminate a single Maintenance Plan Instance, there is another operation that can be used to terminate multiple Maintenance Plan Instances, accessible through the Maintenance Plan page. Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Maintenance Plan Instance exists in the system and is in Active or Created state.

Sequence of Steps#

The Terminate Maintenance Plan Instance wizard can be called from the Maintenance Plan Instance page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

1. Select Terminate to perform the operation. All generic/smart table rows that reference the current object will not be removed.
