Change Material Cost#

Material.ChangeCost

Overview#

This operation is used to change the cost of a Material.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• Material is Active.
• In case the SubMaterialsDeferredCost is greater than zero, the new Material cost property cannot be less than the SubMaterialsDeferredCost.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Details#

This screen captures all the necessary information for the transaction.

1. Verify the Material information.
2. Enter the new cost value.
3. Optionally, enter a comment.
4. Press Change Cost to complete the operation.
