Manage Plan Steps#

Overview#

This operation is used to manage the Plan Steps that define the milestones for the counting of the actual volumes in the Plan.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Plan exists in the system and is Active.
• The Plan is an Effective Plan and is not a Plan Scenario.

Sequence of Steps#

The Manage Plan Steps operation can be called from the Plan page within the Business Data Group, scrolling to the Volume Counting Steps section in the main Plan page. In the wizard:

1. Add as many Steps as desired (press to add and to remove), specifying for each item:

   • The Facility from which the Step will be selected. The Facility will be automatically filled-in depending on the manufacturing level selected in the first panel.
   • The Step, selected from the list of Steps available in the manufacturing level selected for the Plan.
   • Optionally specify a logical FlowPath for the Step so that only Materials with this logical FlowPath may be considered.

2. Press Update to complete the transaction.
