Manage Safety Information#

Overview#
This operation is used to define and manage the Safety Information definitions for the Product.
Setup#
No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.
Preconditions#
- The Product exists and it is Active.
Sequence of Steps#
Step 1: Manage Safety Information#
Navigate to the Safety Information section in the main Product page and press the Manage button to access the configuration wizard:

Specify which Routes of Exposure are applicable:
- Inhalation
- Skin Absorption
- Ingestion
- Injection

Specify the following hazard information:
- Compressed Gas
- Flammable Material
- Oxidizing
- Explosion Hazard
- Fatal
- Biohazardous / Infectious
- Corrosive
- Health Hazard
- Harmful
- Harmful to the Environment

Specify the following required protection equipment:
- Safety Glasses
- Chemical Goggles
- Face Shield
- Dust Mask
- Vapor Respirator
- Breathing Apparatus
- Gloves
- Synthetic Apron
- Protective Clothing
- Boots

Specify the following hazard classifications:
- Fire: Will Not Burn; Must Be Preheated To Burn; Ignites When Moderately Heated; Ignites At Normal Temperatures; Extremely Flammable
- Health: No Hazard; Slight hazardous; Hazardous;Extreme danger; Deadly
- Instability: Stable, Unstable If Heated, Violent Chemical Change, Shock Or Heat May Detonate, May Detonate
- Specific: Acid; Alkali; Corrosive; Oxidizer; Radioactive; Use No Water

Product Technical Sheets and Safety Data Sheets can be further added as attachments, defining the attachment types as the ones defined in the following configuration entries:

/Cmf/System/Configuration/Product/SafetyDataSheet- defaults to "Safety Data Sheet" -
/Cmf/System/Configuration/Product/TechnicalDataSheet- defaults to "Technical Data Sheet"
