Enqueue Resource Job#

🔒 ResourceJob.Enqueue

Overview#

This operation is used to Enqueue a given Resource Job.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Resource Job exists in the system and is Active.
  • The Resource Job System State is Created.
  • The Owner Entity Type and Owner Entity Id provided must match if previously defined in the Resource Job.

Sequence of Steps#

  1. Choose a Resource Job, then select the Enqueue button on the top ribbon.
  2. Optionally, enter a comment for the operation.
  3. Select Enqueue.

Info

Once a Resource Job is enqueued, its System State will change to Queued. At this stage, you will have three available actions: Dequeue, Cancel, or Start the Resource Job. For more information, refer to the linked pages.
