Remove Resource from Container#

🔒 Container.RemoveResource

Overview#

This operation removes a Resource from a Container. It is used when a Resource no longer needs to be grouped or tracked as part of a Container.

Setup#

No specific setup is needed, but the Resource and the Container must meet the all preconditions.

Preconditions#

For the Container:

  • The Universal State is active, not a template or on hold.
  • The System State is available.
  • Has the Resource currently associated to it.
  • The Position Unit Type is set to Resource.

Warning

If the Container is docked with another Resource as a Consumable Feed (ResourceAssociationType = DockedConsumable FeedContainer), this operation will also remove the Resource as a Consumable Feed.

Sequence of Steps#

  1. Navigate to the Resource that needs to be removed and ensure it meets the preconditions listed above.
  2. On the top ribbon, select Remove Container.
  3. Verify if the information presented corresponds to the Container you want to remove the Resource from.
  4. Optionally, enter a comment.
  5. Press Remove to complete the operation.

Note

For bulk operations, all Resources being removed must belong to the same Container.
