Manage Feed Steps#

Overview#

This operation is used to define and manage the Steps that can be included in a given Schedule, instructing the scheduling engine to include the Materials that are in those Steps in the calculations.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Scheduling module is properly licensed in the system.
  • The Steps must not belong to any Area of the Schedule.
  • The Steps must belong to an Area of the selected Feed Step Facility.
  • There must not be more than one combination of Schedule, Feed Step and Facility.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Manage Feed Steps#

  1. Select an appropriate Schedule, navigate to the Feed Steps section and select Manage Production Order Steps.
  2. Add as many Feed Steps as you need (select in the top right of the grid to add and to remove), providing the following information for each item:

    • Facility
    • Step

  3. Select Manage to complete the transaction and update the Schedule.
