Service.Edit

Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Service.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Service exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Service wizard can be called from the Service page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

Note: The Name of the Service cannot be altered. Also, processing type can't be changed if there are any Resources that provide the current Service.

Step 2: Manage Service Resources#

Add or remove Resource(s) that are currently providing the Service.
