Assign Employee Temporarily#

Overview#

A temporary assignment is an exception that places an Employee temporarily in another Workgroup, Position and Team.

Preconditions#

For the selected Employee Calendar Days:

  • Is Calendar Working Day is true.
  • Is Temporarily Assigned is false.
  • Is Employee Non-Working Day is false.
  • An Employee can only be assigned to a Workgroup within the same Shift Plan (of the Employee Workgroup).
  • An Employee can only be assigned to a Position for which he has (Active or Grace Period) Certification.
  • An Employee can only be assigned to a Team of the same Calendar.
  • If the new temporary Workgroup contains Workgroup Personnel Requirements, the new temporary position must be included in the Workgroup Personnel Requirement.

Sequence of Steps#

Select the desired Employee Calendar Days in the Shift Plan, then select Assign Temporarily and follow the steps below:

  1. Verify the information.
  2. Specify the new temporary Workgroup, Team and Position.
  3. Optionally, enter a comment.
  4. Select Assign to complete the operation.
