Overview#

This operation is used to create a Site. A template can also be created using a similar procedure and there is also the possibility of using a template to create the new object as well. This selection can be done in the main entity menu.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Site does not currently exist in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: General Data#

  1. Provide a name for the Site.
  2. Optionally, provide a description of the Site.
  3. Optionally, define the Enterprise to which the Site belongs.

  4. Choose whether the Site is Remote or not. If so, provide the configuration values for remote shipping.

  5. Select Create to complete the operation.

Note

Although bearer tokens are also supported by the framework, given the short lifespan of the token it is advisable to use a Personal Access Token. More information in the Users page under the Administration section.
