Manage Transfer Requirement#

Overview#

This operation is used to Manage a Transfer Requirement.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Transfer Requirement exists in the system and is Active.
  • The Transfer Requirement system state must be Requested.

Sequence of Steps#

The Manage Transfer Requirement wizard can be called from the Transfer Requirement page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

  1. Select the Items section in the Transfer Requirement page.
  2. Select Manage to call the Manage Transfer Requirement wizard.
  3. Add as many entries as you need (select in the top right of the grid to add and to remove). You need to specify at least one item and for each item provide the following information:
    • Product (name)
    • Product Description
    • Requested Quantity
    • Units (from the Units Lookup table)
    • Requesting Existing Material (Advanced Options)
    • Requested Material (Advanced Options)
  4. Optionally, enter a comment.
  5. Select Update to complete the operation.
