Split Transfer Requirement#

Overview#

This operation is used to split a Transfer Requirement. There are several possible reasons to split a Transfer Requirement:

  • Some Materials are not yet available;
  • Some Materials have a Floor Life and are supposed to be picked up separately;

The main Transfer Requirement is called Parent Transfer Requirement and the split Transfer Requirement is called Child Transfer Requirement.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

Preconditions#

  • The Transfer Requirement must be Active.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1#

  1. Select a Transfer Requirement in the appropriate system state.
  2. Press the Split button to complete the operation.
  3. Select the Transfer Requirement items that should be included in the new Transfer Requirement. The following filters can be used for selection:
  4. Materials from Products with Floor Life;
  5. Materials not available in the Source Location
  6. Press the Split button to complete the transaction.
