Material Classification Cube#
This cube collects Material Classification events, currently only focusing on Material Binning. The information gathered here is useful for calculating material Binning related indicators, such as first pass yield, binning volume or percentage and product quality distribution.
Dimensions#
This section describes the dimensions of the Material Classification Cube
Area - Area where the Classification Event was made
Classification Type - Describes the Classification type. Possible values are 'Binning' or 'Loss'
Classification - Classification name and value. Currently it holds the Bin values
Material - Main material of the classification
Product - Product of classification's main material
Classification Material - If the classification created a new material (or continues the same one), this dimension will contain the result material
Classification Product - Product of the classification material (if applicable)
Date - Date of the classification event
Time - Time of the classification event
Employee - Employee that was responsible for the classification
Flow - Flow name where the classification was made
Reason - If the classification action produced a loss (e.g. a loss bin), this will contain the Loss Reason description
Resource - Resource where the classification was made (if applicable)
Primary Unit - Primary units of the classification main material. Note that the classification quantities always represent primary units
Secondary Unit - Secondary units of the classification main material
Shift - Shift where the classification was made
Step - Step where the classification was made
Measure Groups#
There are two measure groups in the Material Classification Cube.

Material Classification#
This section describes the Material Classification Measure Group.
This measure group mainly contains values related to the Classification's main material.
Material Classification Count - Number of classification events currently selected
Primary Quantity - Sum of the primary quantity of the main material before the classification event
Secondary Quantity - Same as above but for the secondary quantity
Primary Quantity After Classification - Sum of the primary quantity of the main material after the classification event. If the classification event did not affect the material quantity, this quantity will be the same as the primary quantity before classification.
Sub Materials Primary Quantity - Sum of the sub materials primary quantity (if any) of the main material after the classification event
Sub Materials Secondary Quantity - Sum of the sub materials secondary quantity (if any) of the main material after the classification event
Material Classification Detail#
This section describes the Material Classification Detail Measure Group.
The measures here presented are related to the materials created during classification or, if applicable, to the loss quantity created by the classification event.
Material Classification Detail Count - Number of classification detail events. This value represents the number of materials or losses that result after the classification event. You can use the Classification Type Dimension to drill down this values
Classification Primary Quantity - Sum of the classification primary quantity. This value can contain the material primary quantity of the loss quantity. As in the measure above, you can use the Classification Type Dimension to drill down this values
