Chart Data Point#
This section describes the Chart Data Point Measure Group
Process Capability (Cp) - Process capability compares the output of an in-control process to the specification limits by using capability indexes. The comparison is made by forming the ratio of the spread between the process specifications (the specification "width") to the spread of the process values as measured by 6 process standard deviation units (the process width)
\(C_p=\frac{USL-LSL}{6\hat{\delta}_{Data Point}}\)
This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
Process Capability (Cpl) - This is the lower boundary of Process Capability
\(C_{pl}=\frac{\mu-LSL}{3\delta}\)
This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
Process Capability (Cpu) - This is the upper boundary of Process Capability
\(C_{pu}=\frac{USL-\mu}{3\delta}\)
This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
Process Capability Index (Cpk) - The Process Capability Index (Cpk) measures the process capability. It shows how closely a process is able to produce the output to its overall specifications
\(C_{pk}=min(\frac{USL-\mu}{3\delta},\frac{\mu-LSL}{3\delta})\)
Data Point Average (\(\mu\)) - This is the average of Data Point Value 1
Data Point Count - This is the count of a group of readings. If the Chart is reading 4 values each 5 minutes, after 15 minutes Data Point Count would be 3, and Data Point Reading Count would be 12
Data Point Median - This is the median of Data Point Value 1
Data Point Range - Difference between the maximum Data Point Value 1 and the minimum Data Point Value 1
Data Point Reading Value - Actual value of the reading. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
For displaying individual reading values, besides the attributes listed above, Date and Time would also have to be added to filter/presentation (Data Point Reading Count must be 1)
Data Point StdDev (\(\delta\)) - This is the standard deviation of Data Point Value 1
Data Point Value 1 - This is the first calculated value based on the reading values and the type of the Chart. As an example, considering an Average And Range chart, this would be the Average of the reading values. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
Data Point Value 2 - This is the second calculated value based on the reading values and the type of the chart. As an example, considering an Average And Range chart, this would be the range of the reading values. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
Lower Control Limit 1 - This is the lower control limit 1 of the chart data point. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
Lower Control Limit 2 - This is the lower control limit 2 of the chart data point. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
Lower Spec Limit (LSL) - This is the lower limit of the chart data point. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
Upper Control Limit 1 - This is the upper control limit 1 of the chart data point. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
Upper Control Limit 2 - This is the upper control limit 2 of the chart data point. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
[Chart].[Chart Name]
[Chart].[Chart Start Date Time]
[Data Point].[Data Point Name]
[Sample].[Sample Id]
[Reading Number].[Reading Number]
Upper Spec Limit (USL) - This is the upper limit of the chart data point. This value is only visible (not null) when specific dimension attributes are filtered or displayed. These attributes are:
