Unterminate Data Set#

Overview#

This operation is used to Unterminate a Data Set.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Data Set exists in the system and is in the Terminated state.

Sequence of Steps#

Use the following steps to unterminate a Data Set.

Step 1: Open the unterminate wizard#

  1. Open a terminated Data Set.
  2. In the top ribbon, select Unterminate.

Step 2: Change Set#

  1. Select an existing Change Set or select Create to create a new Change Set. If configured to support implicit Change Sets, it is also possible to check the option Use Automatic Change Set.
  2. Optionally, select an Approval Role.

Step 3: Details#

  1. Select Unterminate to perform the operation. All generic/smart table rows that reference this object will not be recovered.
