Starting the process using Process And Control Job#

The Track In represents a process start on MES, in that regard, for an automated tool, triggering the Track In will trigger the process on the tool.

For tools that support GEM 300 concepts of Process Job (E40) and Control Jobs (E94) you use the following workflow:

- TrackIn_01_TrackInRequestReceived300mm

The remaining TrackIn_* workflows from the Template Placeholder folder should be removed from the customized Automation Controller.

The workflow will have to be customized to add the Gem Control State status variable, as well to the correct behavior for the multiple triggered validations.

Note

  • By default this workflow will be using Unformatted Recipes to validate the Recipe, please take a look at the documentation regarding on how to set Recipe handling to understand how to define the Recipe behavior if needed.
  • For Slot Map validation, check the behavior described for Track In on the Carrier process you use for the tool you are implementing.
