Step Validate Sub Materials#
Overview#
The Step Validate Sub Materials feature aims to facilitate the validation of panels and boards: after Serialization on the trackout operation, the operator will pick each panel and Board and will confirm that the panels and boards match. This is enforced by sequence.
Concept#
This validation is embedded in the wizard at the trackout. The panels and boards are scanned by the operator. Each scan is compared to the validation mask to determine the Form. Validation errors are shown to the operator during the scanning process if:
- If the Form is not correct one.
- If a material that does not belong to the previous scanned level or the material being tracked out (if the material is of the first level). This is not applicable if
External Namingis set to True. - There is a duplicated scanned material.
- The quantities of each level are not fulfilled. If a new material of the same level is scanned and the previous was not matched, or if a the quantity over-fulfilled.
Note
The page is intended to be used with a scanner, nevertheless it supports a manual input.
Preconditions
- Is required if
Validation Requiredis set to True; - Materials must have sub-materials;
- Only levels defined in the
Expand Material Contextable are enforced. If the level that is to be serialized, given the parent Form, is not the one tracking out, then the combinationParent FormvsChild Formhas to be validated; - Material is not the topmost and
Step.TrackStateDepthLevel > 0
Usage#
Assuming the feature is enabled and the Material is in a step whose type matches the type in the /SMT/ValidateSubMaterials/StepTypeTrigger config, in the track-out operation a validation step will be injected and demanded to proceed. It will expect a material with 3 levels (Work Order -> Panel -> Board) where the panels and boards will be validated, or a material with 2 levels (Work Order -> Board) where only the boards will be validated.
-
In order to proceed with the materials composed of 3 levels (Work Order -> Panel -> Board), the operator will need to scan the materials in an order that matches the order the MES expects. If the operator fails to scan in the correct order, the MES will show a red flag in the material, if it's an ok read it will show a green tag. The step will only allow to proceed if all the materials are green flagged.
-
In order to proceed with the materials composed of 2 levels (Work Order -> Board), the operator will need to scan the materials in any order. The step will only allow to proceed if all the materials are scanned.
Administration#
To use this feature, the config /SMT/ValidateSubMaterials/IsEnabled must be enabled, and the step type must be correctly configured in the /SMT/ValidateSubMaterials/StepTypeTrigger config.
