Overview#

The Augmented Reality page provides a visual exploration of shop floor, by linking the physical environment to tags of system's entities defined in MES and displaying the related information.

Navigation#

In Manufacturing, the Augmented Reality icon will only be displayed in case the device in use has a camera. If this is the case, the user will firstly have to authorize the access of the application to the camera by clicking Allow on the pop-up message that will be displayed immediately after clicking the Augmented Reality icon; then, it will be opened automatically and the user will be able to visualize the objects that have been identified with the Augmented Reality tag and are, therefore, enhanced.

Through this view, the user will also have the possibility to see the object's details; for instance, in case of a Material, the tag will reveal its corresponding system state, the name of the Product to which it belongs, its quantity and storage position, among other details. The user will have, additionally, the possibility to rotate the object, to zoom it in and out and to change the depth level, by clicking on the depth button.
