# Export Automation Controller Workflow

## Overview

This operation is used to export a **Automation Controller** Workflow so that it can be exported later or in another Critical Manufacturing instance.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Automation Controller** exists in the system and is in Active or Created state.

## Sequence of Steps

The Export Automation Controller Workflow wizard can be called from the workflow editor within the **Automation Controller** page.

## Step 1: General Data

1. Open the workflow designer and press the three dots on the right hand side of the *Pages* panel. Press **Export** to open the wizard.
2. Select the name of the exported workflow.
3. Select the display name of the exported workflow.
4. Select **Next** to select the tasks to export.

## Step 2: Tasks

1. Select the tasks to be exported in the workflow.
2. Press **Export** to complete the operation.
