# Manage Batch Containers

## Overview

This operation is used to Manage Batch Containers.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.  

## Preconditions

* The **Batch** exists in the system and is Active.
* The **Batch** System State is Created.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Choose **Batch**, then select the **Manage Batch Containers** button in the Containers Section.
2. Add or remove **Containers** by selecting :material-plus: and :material-trash-can: respectively.

    !!! warning
        The Batch Containers can only be updated when the **Batch** is in the Created state.

3. Optionally, enter a comment for the operation.
4. Select **Update**.
