# Recalculate Centerline(s)

## Overview

This operation is used to Recalculate the **Chart** center lines, based on historical data points.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Chart** is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Details

1. Optionally, modify the number of points to take into account for recalculation - by default, it uses the **Chart** calculation data point size.
2. Optionally, select Preview to see the new centerline(s) values before applying them.
3. Optionally, enter a comment.
4. Select **Recalculate & Set** to complete the operation.
