# Perform Immediate Checklist for Material

## Overview

Accessible from the **Checklist** details page, performs a standalone **Immediate Checklist** for a given **Material**. In this case, you do not need to [[user-guide-open-checklist-for-material]].

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Material** exists, is Active and non-template.
* The **Material** is not In Transit.
* The **Checklist** is of scope Material Tracking and the Execution mode is Immediate.

## Sequence of Steps

To execute an Immediate Checklist for a Material, it's necessary to:

1. Find the desired Checklist instance and select **Perform New**.

2. Execute the **Checklist** items and when you have finished, select **Perform** to conclude the operation.
