# Resume Checklist Instance

## Overview

This operation is used to resume a previously paused **Checklist Instance**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Checklist** is Active, Checklist Version is Effective and it is Opened.
* The **Checklist** Execution Mode is Long Running and the Executing State is Paused.
* The **Checklist** is of scope Material Tracking or Maintenance Management.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Select a **Checklist** instance that matches the preconditions
2. Select the **Resume Perform** button on the top ribbon.
