# Make Container Unavailable

## Overview

This operation is used to make the **Container** unavailable for holding **Materials** or **Containers**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* Container is *Active* and empty, that is, it holds no **Materials** or **Containers**.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Review the **Container** information.
2. Optionally, enter a comment.
3. Press the **Make Unavailable** button to perform the transaction.
