# Retrieve Container

## Overview

This operation is used to remove a **Container** from a storage **Resource**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Container** exists, it is Active and its state is Available.
* The **Container** is in *Store*, i.e., the Resource Association Type is *Stored Container*.
* The storage **Resource** exists and is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Select the **Container(s)** to be retrieved by checking the respective checkbox(es).
2. Press **Retrieve** to complete the transaction.
